Upon arrival at the Robert Mugabe International Airport, you will be picked for a road transfer to Bronte Hotel for your 1-night stay.
Later in the afternoon, you will go for a Harare City Tour. Explore the vibrant capital city of Zimbabwe, the city that never sleeps. You will feel spellbound with the charming atmosphere in the streets which you can feel all year around!

Zimbabwe’s capital city is the country’s most cosmopolitan and contemporary destination, dotted with restaurants and bars, shops and markets. Its proud historical and cultural heritage is reflected in several well-preserved old buildings and informative museums, while its many parks and gardens provide a pleasant contrast to the bustling urban sectors. Located within easy reach of the city centre are the Mukuvisi Woodlands, comprising over 250 hectares of rich natural wilderness, while the magnificent Kopje – a rocky hill to the southwest of Harare – offers great views over the city. Soon after breakfast, you will get on a road transfer to Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport for an onward charter flight to Mana Pools for your 3 nights stay at Mana River Camp on Fully Inclusive basis.
Later in the afternoon, you will go for bird watching in the camp. Mana Poolsis a true paradise for birdwatchers, with more than 350 species of birds happily perching there.

With over 380 species of birds recorded Mana Pools is an excellent birding destination. Day Itinerary

In the morning, soon after breakfast you will go for a morning game drive in Mana Pools National Park. Mana Pools National Park offers rich and spectacular wildlife viewing.
Later in the afternoon, you will go for walking safari in Mana Pools National Park. With the park’s sparse vegetation allowing for good visibility and relatively relaxed wildlife, you can expect close encounters with species such as elephant, wild dog and even lion, something rarely encountered anywhere else in Africa.

Game drives take place in the mornings and late afternoons along the floodplains and game rich riverbanks where there is a high concentration of wildlife. You will explore the floodplains surrounding the camp where the Albida trees attract various wildlife due to the source of excellent protein they provide. These trees are the reason the elephants have adapted to standing on their hind legs to stretch up and reach the delicacies of these Albida trees, especially in the dry season.

Walking Safaris

Morning and/or late afternoon game walks. Mana River Camp offers the perfect environment in which to immerse yourself in nature by enjoying walking safaris. Walking safaris are particularly special in the Mana Pools National Park as the Zimbabwean guides are exceptionally experienced and highly regarded due to Zimbabwe’s stingent examination procedures. On your walk, your safari guide will draw your attention to the details that form part of a bigger story, such as beetles, animal droppings, scents, sounds and spoor.

On this day, you will go for an early morning canoeing tour. Floating down the river, between Mana Pools and Zambia’s Lower Zambezi National Park, the wilderness surrounds you really is one of the ‘classic’ African safari experiences.
In the afternoon, you will go for a Game Drive. A game drive through Mana Pools National Park is a gift to the senses. This expansive wildlife conservation area in the north of Zimbabwe is one of Africa’s most renowned game-viewing regions countless species roaming the area.

Soon after breakfast, you explore the falls up close and on foot. Feel the thunder, be touched by the mist and enjoy endless great views as you walk the path hovering up close to the falls with an experienced guide.
In the early afternoon, soon after tour of the falls, you will be transferred to Lookout Cafe for you lunch where you have the spectacular views of the Batoka Gorge, Vic Falls Bridge and Spray of the Falls.
In the evening, you have dinner at the Boma. The Boma is a legendary dining and entertainment experience that offers an unforgettable fusion of mouth-watering local cuisine, energetic dance performances, interactive drumming, and traditional storytelling. The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show is a “must do” Victoria Falls dining and entertainment experience, specializing in traditional African food, drumming, and dancing. The food is cooked and served in the style and quantity of a lavish feast, including irresistible desserts. On arrival, you are dressed in a chitenge (traditional sarong) and welcomed into a vibrant atmosphere in which the tantalizing aromas of local dishes and game meat on the braai (barbecue) fill the restaurant, which is partially open to the star-filled African sky.

Your meal begins with a mouth-watering platter of starters whilst the buffet includes soup from the campfire, a range of salads, game meat cooked on a braai (barbecue), followed by desserts. Game drives are conducted in the mornings and afternoon/evenings at camp. They usually last about three hours each and are conducted along the river systems and flood plains around the camp. The wildlife in the area is prolific and chances are good to see some of the larger predators, herds of elephant and buffalo and all the plains animals that occur here. Night drives are conducted in the early evening offering one a chance to see the smaller more nocturnal animals with spotlights.
