Pick up from Victoria Falls International Airport for a transfer to Ilala Lodge for your 3 nights stay.
Late afternoon, we set out on the Zambezi River for a relaxing and beautiful sunset cruise. Enjoy your favourite beverage while keeping an eye out for hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and abundant bird life.

Ilala Lodge Hotel is ideally located only 8 minutes away from the spectacular Victoria Falls, making it geographically the closest hotel to the waterfall on the Zimbabwean side. Sunset Cruise

The Zambezi River cruise is a superb way to relax and enjoy the beauty of the River. You may have the opportunity to see a variety of game; including hippo, crocodile, and elephant in their home environment, as well as enjoy the many different bird species. The Sunset cruise is very popular and includes finger snacks, beer, wine, local spirits, and soft drinks. There are great photo opportunities against often-spectacular African sunsets. Flocks of birds skim the waterline as the sun sets behind the African skyline.

Soon after breakfast, you explore the falls up close and on foot. Feel the thunder, be touched by the mist, and enjoy endless great views as you walk the path hovering up close to the falls with an experienced.
Pick up for Lunch at The Lookout Cafe. The Cafe’s simplistic design creates a flow through, connecting indoor and outdoor dining space, offering diners a unique experience with breathtaking views.
Pick up for Helicopter Ride. The spectacular helicopter flight over the Victoria Falls is known as the ‘Flight of Angels’.
In the evening, you have dinner at the Boma. The Boma is a legendary dining and entertainment experience that offers an unforgettable fusion of mouth-watering local cuisine, energetic dance performances, interactive drumming, and traditional storytelling. A view of the Victoria Falls is something you will never forget and the best way to see them is on a guided tour. Discover how the Falls were formed and what local customs and traditions surround them. These tours are extremely informative and end with a visit to the local art and crafts centre.

The Lookout Café

Perched on the rim of the Batoka Gorge, the Wild Horizons Lookout Café is a fusion of spectacular views and exquisite food. The African Contemporary styled restaurant is designed to emphasize its unique panoramic view of the Victoria Falls Bridge and Batoka Gorges, which form part of the spectacular backdrop.

Helicopter Flight (15min)

The spectacular helicopter flight over the Victoria Falls is known as the ‘Flight of Angels’.

David Livingstone famously wrote on seeing the Victoria Falls for the first time in 1855 that “Scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight”. Little did he know that 150 years later he could have exactly that opportunity. The best way to appreciate the true splendour of the Victoria Falls is to view them from the air. Our helicopters have specially designed ‘bubble shaped’ windows perfect for panoramic viewing and great photographic opportunities from all seats.
The 15-minute flights depart regularly throughout the day and offer spectacular photographic opportunities. Guests are collected from their hotels 30 minutes before their flight departure time and are given a safety talk on arrival at the Helipad, near the Elephant Hills Inter-Continental Hotel.

After take-off on the 15 minutes ‘Zambezi Spectacular’, the helicopter flies over the Victoria Falls, continuing downstream over the Batoka Gorges. Heading back from the Batoka Gorges the flight takes you back over the Falls and the long island on the upper Zambezi towards the National Park, home to a wide variety of wildlife species and then back to the Helipad.
